Been awhile since I've posted here, do check in and read topics from time to time.
I've been working on a small pontoon rebuild and I'm wrapping everything up. I got this motor not long ago, knowing that it doesn't have tilt/trim or a tilt/trim tube for steering and assuming I could figure it out pretty easily. I purchased a clamp block with bracket like pictured below only to realize that it won't work because it would hit the motor when tilted up.
Only idea I've had so far is to weld a tab on the angle support of the transom pod, then put a threaded tube through it.
Anyone have any other ideas?
