Possibly moving from Atlanta to San Antonio. How's the fishing around San Antonio, Texas?

Canyon lake ;lm sm w bass ,strippers ,cats,crappie...Super clear deep cold on bottem 140' and supports Rainbow T in dam outlet into River..Beautiful area party lake and fast everything in summer..Then it settles down when it cools down... and fishing is super..There's lake Brauning and Calavaris..Good fish all above area about 35m from SA.Then salt water 150m thats all good.. and just north of Austin are a chain of lakes..So you will have plenty

Canyon Lake can be tough to fish at times. You need a good graph to find the drop offs and such. There is not much cover in the traditional sense ie Lilly pads, boat docks, ect.

I usually prefer to go to lake Dunlap in new braunfels or lake placid in Seguin. I've never fished any of the San Antonio lakes.
