Float Tube Fishing

I've had one for over 25 years and hardly ever used it. Nothing fancy. Just a canvas cover over a tire tube with a seat & a zippered pouch on each side.

I haven't fished much in the past 20 years and have just started getting back into it. I never was much into pond fishing, and the float tube was in the way on local creeks (I love wet wading) and not a really great option on the rivers (except, as you said, in a few selected areas). I've been meaning to use it on Strawbridge Lake in Moorestown since they dredged it out, but haven't yet. I still have concerns about the water quality there. I've caught lots of fish with sores from that lake in the past, but it seems to be better since the dredging and cleanup. The float tube should be good for working the edges of the lake at dusk and dawn.
