I'd build this one if I had my Druthers.

12' Jon small..jpg

It's a 12' Jon, of wood, maybe 48" wide at the middle. A bit tapered at both ends with a Little bit of rocker over the length.
I row.
Normally don't use any kind of motor. So you see two sets of oar locks. If I had a passenger for that rear deck seat.
Under the front seat is the Battery. I didn't put the Electrical switches n' lights but it'd have the FF and all it's lights.
Along side is the Rolling Rowing seat I now have in my V-Bottom boat. Those two dark lines in the bottom are the Rails for that Rolling seat.

It's 4' of 'reach' for old Papaw to reach something in the rear or bow area just by sliding back and forth. I've found that the handiest Boat mod I've ever done in my whole life. Wish I'd have thought of it in the 60's.
You get a four foot stroke in the water with the oars from that seat. You can really go about as fast as a 3Hp motor will take you.

What I need is time and a buddy to advise and guide me.
