Johnson 115 4-strok and weeds

I know a few weeks ago I pulled some weeds out of the grill for the water intake. I noticed today it peas but the stream looks a little scattered and not as strong. How worried should I be about this? Will it solve itself as the vegetation dries and shrinks and becomes more brittle ( if it is vegetation)? The overheat alarm has not gone off.

Good chance that the overboard indicator fitting is partially plugged up. Push a toothpick or something similar into it to clear it and re-start the engine. Compressed air if you have it available to you.
You are doing well to keep a good eye on it!
