So this is a total newb question, but how do I update? I see the downloads, but how do they get to the Elite? Is there a USB port I am missing?

For Elite unit you need a micro SD card.
Download update for model you have. It will download as a zip file. Once downloaded double click on it in downloads, then click extract files up at top left, then transfer extracted file to micro SD card.

To install update in chartplotter have unit powered off, insert micro SD card into unit where one would put lake map SD card, power up unit it will automatically start download. Do not power down or remove card while downloading. Once it's done it will prompt you on display to remove card. Then your good to go.

8/1/14 update:

HDS units new update will be released in Sept. for Auto steer products. One being for linking to Motor Guide.
