Here is a picture of our camping spot we usually go to.
It's where those tree tops are that you can barely see sticking out of the water. I don't think i'll be going there this year :shock:

I'm thinken next year for this camp site

I cant imagine the dam being opened 6ft. That must have looked awsum.
 
I agree with both of you guys.It's definatly gonna take a while and from what everyone says that seen the gates open all the way described it looking like Niagra falls!!
Wish I coulda been there to see it but just what I saw gave me a pretty good idea of what it would have been like :shock:
 
This river by me(cooper) has little flood gates, last year at draught time they were letting water in, we were fishing in front and to the side of it, we heard creaking and the sound of metal to metal, we looked over and saw a little trickle, than like an opened fire hydren, than it was full force. we set there for a good half hour just watching, he fished I watched, it was neat.
