Need some info on 1967-69 Mercury 500 Outboard (Pics)

Hello all,

I have a 1967-69 Mercury 500, 50hp outboard with the Thunderbolt ignition system. I am having a hard time finding information on part numbers etc. Some of the wires are getting corroded and the wire jackets are splitting open on a few wires. It still runs fine, but I don't want to risk getting stranded. I am thinking of replacing the entire wiring harness.

Does anyone know what the model/serial number would be for the correct harness for this motor?

The motors serial number is 2214539. Kiekhaefer Corp, made in Fon Du Lac, Wisconsin.
