New Fairfield, Texas lake record blue cat

Fishing Thursday with Mr. Charles Burks of Fairfield, TX. I had a stroke of luck and managed to catch a 47.05# blue cat. This is a pending lake record. Year before last I caught two going 21#-23# within five minutes. I don't catch that many blues down there and was fishing for and catching reds when the blue bit.

Thats a really nice fish. Good luck with the record! How long till ya find out if you beat the old one? We Have blue cats around here but I have yet to see one caught that big, Im sure there here but most of the ones caught around are smaller ones, 2ft at the most. Beautiful Blue!!!!! what did you catch it on?
