New Grizzly 1648

I am very close to buying a new grizzly 1648 tiller model w/trailer. I'm wondering what size and brand of motor to buy for it. I live in Florida now and an area lake nearby has a 20hp motor limit. Evinrude has a 15 or 25hp. Yamaha 20 and Mercury 20. Tohatsu I guess the same as mercury. Very hard to make up my mind, as I already sold my grizzly 1448 with mercury 25hp EFI in Texas last year. And would a small jackplate be in order? Anyone have a suggestion?

I've got a 1752 Lowe with an 83 25hp Johnson. With myself in the boat I get 24-25mph with 2 people I get 20-23. I would say go with the 20hp of your preference (sorry can't help ya with that)

I went ahead and ordered a Sea Ark 1648 w/25hp Mercury, trim & tilt. Spay on Liner, Beefed up Bass Seat Plates, tm setup, nav lights, and a couple other small extras.
