Hi I am onto my next tin boat. First was a 40 year old Lowe 1436, 15hp tiller, TM, and titled trailer for $750.

I could not pass up on a roadside 1448T!

The 2004 Lowe Big Jon with 20" transom, 2 rows of seats, center live well, and large front deck is now in my driveway. It came with a 3500lb titled galvanized trailer, and 85 Mercury 25xd tiller.
It was advertised for $1900.00
On the call I offered $1,800 if the outboard would start on one pull. The next day I got to the scene before the owner, he hooked up fuel, put on the dog ears, and pulled. SOLD!!!!

I have a new Minn Kota 55lb endura transom mount $ 240, and new heavy duty AGM battery $200 in a Minn kota charging station box.
The trailer needs a rebuild: new tires, winch, bunks, bow stop, and possibly hubs.
The 4.00/4.8 by 8 tires were dry rotted, winch broken, bunks too short 48", bow stop with the wrong setup.

I purchased 7 ft bunks, jon boat perpendicular front bunk, block bow stop, 1000lb winch with 20ft strap, new bunk mounting hardware, 5.30 by 12 galvanized rims/tires, and galvanized rear guide-on bunks.
Title and reg: $333, trailer upgrades: easy $400 or more.
Total invested before an ounce of modifications: $2973

The 1436 deal was 0 money out. I traded a M1 30 Carbine for it. I figure I can recoup $1,250 out of the packaged deal. Motor alone is worth $500 to $1000, scrap 1436 $350, 38 year old titled in PA trailer: Priceless.
Paperwork alone on a trailer is worth $400, if it rolls: Bonus!
