Rear mounted trolling motor to a bow mounted

I have a Motor Guide Energy 46 pound. It is a rear mount or regular mount. I would like to use it on the front of my jon boat. It will be backwards if I mount the way it is. My question can the head or the prop be rotated for use up front. If so is it easy to do.

I've flipped a number of the Minn Kota's around, but never a Motor Guide. I did own a boat recently that had what appeared to be a flipped Motor Guide...but I didn't flip it myself so I cannot say for sure. That boat has been sold . rich

On a Minn Kota all you need to do is unscrew one bolt and you can turn the head around. Not sure about MotorGuide though. Check the website.

I have a Motorguide Varimax 55 and I rotated the head 180. No issues.
