That's a gorgeous bike. I love the Road King. Comfort all the way and fun to ride. Congrats on that purchase.
This is the first summer where I have not owned a motorcycle. I have been riding for the last 45 years and not a summer missed. This spring I regretfully sold my Yamaha Tenere 700. I've had lots of big highway bikes and a bunch of dual sport bikes and some others as well. Here's a pic of my last steed. I'll get another bike. You can count on that.

These days, motorcycles are mostly "yesterday," but I've got a couple of BMW twins in the shed, needing TLC.
My fear is that my imagination will excede my reaction time and physical endurance.

Keep the shiny side up.

Bought this from a customer in 2020. It is a 2005 with 500 miles on it. Put about 4000 on since then. He kept it in his basement. It's a fun bike. I do get a look when people see a balding, overweight guy pushing 60 on it😂. Even did a 2 day camping trip with it.

Is that a DR650 or a DRZ400. It's in great shape and those are bullet proof bikes. Have fun on that.

We have a 1986 FLH that has 432,000 miles on it. We've owned it since new. The original 80 cube Evo that got new cylinders and pistons twice in its life was replaced in 2017 with a S&S 96 cube stroker with a mild touring cam in it. The paint and leather seat on the bike is still original. We've ridden it to Sturgis every year since 1986.

A little over a year ago we bought a pair of Honda PCX's for general running around. We ordered them in Feb 2021 when Honda announced the redesigned PCX. My wife's bike came in August (pictured in the photo), mine arrived in early Sept. The PCX is an absolutely fabulous commuting bike. It has a 160cc four-valve, liquid-cooled engine that delivers plenty of power to run 80 mph on the freeway. It gets ave 100 mpg, we have about 3,600 miles on each of them now.

This was my last one. Got rid of it in June 2020. 2015 Yamaha FJ09. The triple was very sweet. Looking back I probably would've preferred the FZ09, they are essentially the same bike but the FJ is aimed as more of a sport tourer, has a bigger front fairing, different seat, windshield, etc.

I had several over the years. Started with an 87 CBR600F, moved up to a YZF600R, then a CBR900RR. Got sick of sport bikes and went to a KLR650, then a CB500F, and finally the FJ. Unfortunately I lost most of the pictures because of the photobucket deal a few years ago.

Of those I miss the KLR and the CB most. The CB was just a blast to ride.

If I was going to get another I'd be looking at a midsize dual sport. I'm not crazy about riding on the street anymore.

We have the two Harley's here. Both bought barely used, and then from there we make them how we like them. 2011 FLHTC Electra Glide Classic for the road trips, and ol' 97, or Black Betty our 1997 Softail Custom. We have spent WAYYYYYY.....more money on 97 but it is a really nice bike, perfect for everything and I have ridden her on several 1000 mile long weekends to North Carolina's mountains and the "Dragon's Tail".........I am 66 now and have been riding since I was eight years old. Been fishing even longer.
