Small Jon boat to flats style boat?

I finnished staining and sealing my deck. I went a little darker than I was planning because that's what my wife suggested. I figured if I was going to keep it camo it might work out. Anyways, here is what I was able to get done today.

I finally had a little free time today to start on my hatch doors. I am still waiting for my recessed handles to come in. View attachment 1

Well not much has changed lately. I pretty much have the whole boat wired. I'm just waiting on a switch for my horn and two led strips to come in. The LEDs will be for lighting inside my hatches. The trolling motor looks massive on the bow of this little guy. I can't help but stand back and laugh. I am also still waiting on my hatch handles. Should be any day now. I guess I will soon start on the "Jack plate" for my motor. I am currently having trouble getting that thing to start. It has been sitting up for a while. Last time I used it I ran the carb dry and made sure to leave the fuel valve off. I have fresh gas so spark plug maybe? I have a couple of ideas for my leaning post, just need to make it happen.

So. Are there seats on it? Or when you say flats style does that mean you stand? Not sarcastic. Just genuinely have no idea. I love it though keep it up!

No seats. I can sit on the ice chest if needed. Mostly standing.
