special secrete website to find the year of my o-b??

i have a 7.5 ted williams, im guessing in the 80's year range. it has the white hood w/ green graphix, but i havent been able to find anywhere on the net to get the year, or a place that tells me what number in the serial is the year. can anybody help a man out? ive looked all over sears, but it just comes up as a 7.5 t/w outboard.

model # 217-5888-2
serial # 33-527628

i've searched and searched and searched. if yall cant help, im just goin to say to hell with the year :mrgreen:
