I was traveling through Wisconsin over the weekend when I saw this tiller modification going by the other way. I turned around and found it in a parking lot. I didn't have time to look closely but here it is. The guy used a plastic kid's baseball bat for an extension to the tiller. Judging from the photo, the owner cut the end off the bat and with the aid of a little hard foam and two hose clamps tightened the bat compress around the handle. I love this idea because it so simple and unexpected. The bat is light-weight, cheap and is really a perfect thing to use to extend the tiller. An aluminum bat could be used as well - a little more work perhaps but strong and long-lasting.[/img]
