We finally got a good day weather wise so me and the wife headed to the lake. The crappie hadnt moved in shallow yet but my wife caught a nice one about a pound or so and we caught 4 of those yellow perch. Ive never eaten those perch but they are on the menu for lunch tommorow.

Perch are very hard to beat. Let us know how you like them.

The perch were pretty good. I prefer the crappie but would definately eat them again. Here is a pic of the crappie it was the first one my wife ever caught
