(power port being a plug that is mounted on the boat to easily plug in an extension cord)
was looking up to install a minn kota power port for the onboard charger, but reading reviews says there is a tab in there that breaks off and it's a poor design making the plug useless.
Anyone have issues with it before or another option?

Marinco makes a very good one for around $15. It accepts a standard 15A or 20A extension cord. Everything Marinco makes is a good product.
