What year is my motor?

I have a 20 h.p. Mercury 200. serial number: 4406851

What year is it or where can I find out? I've looked everywhere online and cant find a serial number correlation with year

It says "Not Found" everytime

have you called a mercury dealer? were you typing it in the model or parts search? pull your hood and try to find a part with the part number visible and try the sites listed or a dealer


or post a pic of it and I could tell you what year?

It's a 76 model. Serial # range for 1976 20hp ran from 4293920-4580035
