So. Got a boat. Wanted to make it something to the way my family and I fish.
The side says it's a Sea Sprite made in Monmouth, Illinois. Its a 1977.
I can't find much info on the manufacturer tho. So if anyone has some info on them that would be good. Anyway... It has 3 bench seats I pulled the center one today.
There's another guy tadpole 86 I think, I swear his boat is the same as mine....
Anyhow, I've kinda got this blank canvas, but I would like to know what to plug the rivit holes with, as I ground them down and knocked them out. I will add pics soon.

Looks like you've got your hands full with that one. Bolts/nuts, rivets, JB Weld can all be used to plug the old rivet holes.

yeah,it will take some work, but thats part of it. everyone has an opinion on jb weld...i got something called quick steel. I think it works the same, to keep weight down I am building a floor frame from pvc pipe.

With the limited number of rib and that they don't go very high up the sides be careful how much support you remove.

I think mine is similar as well. I can't find any info either.

Looks pretty close to mine when I picked it up... keep up the vision. I look forward to seeing where you can take her.
