First trip of the year 02-03-12

Got the tin can out and headed for the lake St Clair. Grabbed some minnows, then to the launch. End up catching 30 perch and kept 10 for dinner. Fun time, here's a video I shot https://youtu.be/qClQJaqXQeU

Those are nice, Jim! Man, that makes me want to get on the water. Y'all boys up north - man, I admire your spirit. I'm spoiled down here in deep south where a really cold day might be in the teens, then in two days, high will be in 50s or more. Me old bones just can't take the cold much any more though. BUT, if I lived up there - yes - I would be on the ice with you!

I think that was my earliest boat trip. It was a blast. Reality is going to set in high 28 low 18 back to normal in a few days. #-o
