I bought an older Evinrude Scout trolling motor. It works great, but does anyone know how to adjust the direction of the motor? Was wanting when the pedal is in the middle it goes straight? Not sure if I make the adjustments in teh foot control unit or where?

I saw an article once where there was a PVC pipe through the top of the cooler and then a trap door on the cooler lid itself. Just drop the fish down the Pipe and into the cooler. Has anyone built anything like that or know of a site I can go to and get the directions?

Flat bottom or V bottom? I have a couple of small flat bottom boats now, but thinking of getting a 14 or 16 foot boat and doing a conversion. Not planning on putting a large motor, if any at first other than a trolling motor. I don't fish real large lakes. I was wondering what others would advise?

I am running 12 volt cable to the front of my crawdad for my trolling motor(mounting the trolling motor plug) but also putting a 12 volt plug (and maybe stereo) up front too. How should I split the cable once I have it ran to the front of the boat? Maybe no stereo since I only run one battery...

Anyone ever mount a foot control trolling motor to the transom of a jon boat? Bought the bulldog, but that's not going to work for me. May just have to mount it on the bow. Rather have one on the transom. Or may mount the bulldog up front and the old one on the transom.
