    Rocker Switch & Breaker Panel

This is a switch and circuit breaker panels that were taken off of my new SeaArk. I replaced them with a Blue Sea panel because I needed more capacity. There are three Contura rocker switched and three C/Bs, a 20A and 2 15A, all made by Caring. Everything is mounted in carbon fiber simulated...

Rod Holders For The New SeaArk

I was trying to figure out what to do for rod holders on my new boat. I'm going to have a t-top put on it, but the last t-top I had with rocket launchers didn't do anything but give me a headache when I ran into them, and I never used them. if I was heading offshore and was taking 10 rods with...

SeArk 1872 MV delivered this week. Now the fun begins

My new SeaArk 1872/MagicTilt Trailer was delivered this wee. The deal is finished with the rigging and now my part begins. Lots of electrical upgrades in the mill. I'm going to replace the 4 position switch panel with a Blue Sea 8 Sw/CB panel. When the T-top goes on after Christmas, it will have...

    What's Happening with my browser.

Why are almost all of the images in these posts showing up as blank boxes. They are supposed to be jpgs and I've never had problems displaying them.

    Trolling Motor Plug Mount

Wrapping up my TM installation on my G3 1860. This is the mount that houses the TM plug. The plug is mounted on a piece of King Starboard, the wired terminated in crimp-om eye connectors and shrink wrapped. The wires go to a Blue Sea dual Power Post. The trolling motor wires will also attach to...

    Missing Ground

My G3 & trailer are salt water babies, and I'm gradually getting all the issues under control. A buddy picked my boat and trailer up a week or so ago to do a carb job on the motor and as he was pulling off, I noticed one of the trailer lights wasn't working. I went out yesterday and was going to...

    G3 Projects Finally Completed

A little while back I installed a T-Top on my G3 1860(another post about that). When I installed it. I was restricted as to where I could fasten it down to the floor of the boat because I had to be able to get into the side of the console with the stand-offs without hitting wiring and cables...

Finally Got The T-Top Installed In The G3

All fastened down to the aluminum floor with #14 sheet metal screws and 3M 5200. Ran a pull string through the tubing so I can go out tomorrow and run the wires for the nav light and the VHF radio. Then all that's left is to lace on the canvas top.

    Fishmaster T-Top

A buddy and I weregoing to install my new FM T-Top in my G3 1860 DLX yesterday. By the time he showed up, I had the sides and canopy sections assembled and ready to set up on the boat. Then for some reason I looked at the mounting feet on the vertical sections and one of them had been welded on...

    T-Top For A G3

I'm looking at T-tops for my G3 1860 CC DLX. I've narrowed down between Fishmaster and Stryker, both being under $1000. Has anyone had any experience with these manufacturers. I've looked at the installation instructions on-line for both and everything appears to be pretty straight forward.

    FF Transducer Removable Transom Mount

Two piece mount, the base part will permanently attach to the transom, the insert will slide in from the top and be held in place with a thumb screw. I have to drill and tap for the machine screws to hold the plastic bracket on the insert, no big deal there, and all of the transducer ajustment...

    Attaching Bunk Carpet

I picked up a 6 year old rig and am in the process of redoing many of the things on both boat and trailer. What is the prefered method of attaching bunk carpet? Some kind of waterproof glue or mechanical fasters such as brads or staples?

    Removable transducer Mount

Does anyone make a mount that will allow the tranducer to be removed from the transon, but will have it at the correct setting when it is reattached? First, I'm not interested in a suction cup type mount. I have both types of Humminbird mounts, one is a fixed mount and the other is the "flip...

    Humminbird Transducer Installation Question

I'm about to install the tranducer on my G3, replacing a toasted Garmin. Never had a boat with a FF before, so my question is, once the transducer is adjusted to the proper angle relative to the transom, is the tranducer going to be flipper up and down as in launching/trailering, or is it going...
