Thats crazy. And to think that they have to harpoon them, then bring them beside the boat to kill them is just nuts! How long do you think it would take to get a 13+ footer close to the boat without flipping it? Scary..........

Rogue. The carbon is made in California and rolled into blanks in Oregon. They dont advertise at all. There are only 5 people employed total. I am very happy with this blank! Mine is one that was specially made for him, but he let me use it!

IMO Flouro is far more sensitive than Mono also. Some people may not agree, but i think it helps transmit virbations better.

Wow, wasnt expecting this from relatively non-tournament anglers. The only people that are all worked up about it is the guys who fished the co-angler series that was before this Marshal program. Before, the pros would hold back, and guard themselves because they didnt want to give anything away...

Anyone else signed up to be a Marshal for 2010? I just did for the Kentucky Lake Tourny in June. For those who dont know, it is a new BASS program where you sit in the back of the pro's boat, and have a cell phone thing provided. Everytime them catch a fish you punch the estimated weight in...

Well the tourny sucked! A crazy August cold front came in, it was barely 60 degrees when we launched. Fishing was very tough and i only caught 1 dink. My partner caught 2 dinks and 1 keeper (lil over 15"). Big bass was a 5.8 pound hawg, the only fish the guy weighed. No one had more than 2 fish...
