Hi,
On my crawdad I made 2 carpeted, square, removable floors from regular plywood. I Poly'ed the wood, carpeted it with lowes cheap rubber backed outdoor carpeting and fit them snug right in. The beauty of that is you can remove them to clean the floors and clean underneath where the pipes are. Also if a little water gets in, IT stays beneath the floor.

Those Dads are great little boats. They have a big following here where we live. Are you an NEF'er?

Jim

Only if you don't want it to sink if/when it gets swamped. It doesn't make it float any better on top of the water, but it will help a whole lot if it goes under.
