16ft BlueFin Hull and Calkins Trailer

16ft BlueFin Deep-V hull and trailer. Nice, straight hull on Calkins roller trailer. CT 1776 AD. Second owner.

Put a Merc 80 on it last fall to check out motor. Boat went smooth and straight. It did 43 with no weight in it; nothing inside but a temporary sheet of 1/2 plywoood.

Hull in very good condition. Last used(legally)in 1987. Both boat and trailer registered now. Boat is wide and deep; rated for 90hp. Perfect for center console build up.

Yes, Big boats usually have a big splashwell. These are sometimes hard to get around with the tiller. Big hulls are sometimes too deep to see well forward when seated comfortably with a tiller. You need to look for a boat designed to be operated by tiller in these respects.

I have a 16ft SeaNymph that would take your engine perfectly and is designed for tiller ops. Your engine is a 20" longshaft, I am assuming.
