A boat mechanic says it runs great low hours on it it sat for years inside a basement form a buddy. Haven t seen it run yet but can, he put new gear lube in it, spark plugs and starts up in two pulls cold. ASking 350 for it, it looks nice no scratches whatsoever. What do you guys think? I kknow its a little older but... it peaked my interest. Worth taking a look at?

Sounds great but I think he's asking a tad much for that old of a motor (56 years to be precise). I just purchased a 1957 18 hp Evinrude (has both tiller & ability for center console controls & can be set up for electric start) in great shape for $150.00. Below is a pic. If you do decide to get it, my concern will also be your concern...can we still get parts (if we ever need them) without combing the ends of the Earth? Good luck.
