So I ordered doors from Fish on Fabrications and got them fitted and installed. It was an easy process. I measured and remeasured, and measured again and sent the dimensions of my holes to Fish On. A few weeks later I got back these pro doors that I was thrilled about. 20160530_211313.jpg

I already had carpet, so that was all that was left to do was to carpet the deck into the frames, and the doors. I only had enough carpet to do the boat and didn't order and extra, but I messed up the center hatch and rod locker door by getting the grain of the carpet backwards. Its less noticeable now that I have walked all over it, but defiantly make sure all of your carpet is going the same direction.

As far as securing the carpet, I watched a few videos of people re-carpeting using a glue adhesive, and even purchased some. I decided after watching the videos that since I didn't have a template, from old carpet, that I was going to used spray adhesive. The reasons were that I could more easily do it in sections and it was stuck instantly allowing me to actually be on the deck to make the cuts where I needed, also the carpet I ordered was not super quality, with backing, so I thought I would have issues with glue coming through. Either way it worked great and was instant. I used Loctite 300 spray adhesive, it was $10 a can and I used 5 cans so it was pricey. I sprayed the deck section I was about to do as well as the back of the carpet, per directions and pressed them firmly together. My inspiration was the great video from Anglers Port Marina of Ranger installers doing work. https://youtu.be/xoZNzkTPg1s

That is coming along very nicely, good job on the doors and carpeting....:)
