1983 Johnson 15hp prop

I have a 1983 Johnson 15hp outboard on my 12ft Sea Nymph. The prop has no markings on it whatsoever. Anyone have a best guess as to it's size/pitch assuming it's stock?

I guess 9-1/4 x 10.

Im running a 9 1/4 x8 on mine . I put on a 10pitch. But it was too much.

Thanks, guys. I ordered a 9 1/4 x11. Boat doesn't weigh anything so I'm going to see if I can take advantage of the extra pitch.

Boat went 29mph tonight with the 9 1/4x11 prop. That was with me (165lbs), 55lb thrust Minn Kota trolling motor, marine battery (45lbs), a couple fishing poles, tackle box, anchor about 4 gallons of gas on board.

Your local prop shop can tell you, not a bad idea in case you damage it and want another just like it.

Has anyone here used a tach on these small motors to check RPM? thinking of getting a tach that I can use on the smaller motors temporarily to check.
