4 stroke advice.Please help.

I have a 10foot Jon I am redoing.I believe it's a Gamefisher Jon.It's only 40 to 50 pounds.It has a 12 inch transom.Are there any old 4 stroke engines,that I can keep an eye out for, to use on my boat?I know anything over 5HP will be to much.My local lakes have banned all 2 strokes.No exceptions.I would use a mud motor but they are a little cumbersome on my set up.I would do the weedeater outboard conversion but the 4 stroke weedeaters are still expensive.Any advice or ideas?

just keep your eyes peeled on craigslist. Now that summer is almost over, people will be getting rid of what they had.
