7/25 short trip

Had time for a short trip this morning. Left at 5:15 so I could get there and be ready to launch at 6 when the lake opens. 82 degrees when I left home :twisted: Anyway I was the first one on the lake and caught two right away one 15" the second 14 1/2" both on a JD Baits stick bait. Only caught three more all on a crankbait. Anyway there was a nice breeze and cloud cover for the 4 hours I got to spend on the lake which made it a nice morning. Fish turned off when the wind picked up so I probably should have just left at 8:40 as I did not get another bite and neither did anybody else I saw on the way back to the ramp. Closes at 11pm. It is in a city park, however I have never seen an official there so I am not sure who would inforce the open and close times :mrgreen:
