9.9-15HP Remote Steer

Are there any 4 stroke remote steer motors between 9.9HP and 15HP?I know I can modify one for it but I was hoping they're out there.

Are you looking for a motor or the Remote steer feature on a specific motor?

I am looking for a 9.9 to 15 horsepower 4 stroke outboard that comes from the factory ready for remote steer.I know there are 4 stroke trolling motors out there for bigger boats,that connect to the main engine.

Dont know the specific Mfg's that fit your quest.
Most of the OMC's had that little Key slot in the handle for the Remote cables.

At one time I thought of using the Cable out of a Weed eater as a Remote steer device. I still think that would work, I just dont have time to persue it.

Controls aren't really an issue.That's the easy part.It's the way the newer 4 strokes are made.They aren't easy to connect cables to and keep things looking clean and the factory appearance.

Most Yamaha and Mercury 9.9 and 15hp 4strokes are available for tiller or remote steering. and yammi's new 25hp 2stroke is available with either design and weighs in less than a 15hp 4stroke..

Thanks.I have to stay at or under 15HP and no 2 strokes are allowed on the lakes in my area.
