Adding cleat to my bow cap

I have a jam cleat on the bow of my boat (along with a traditional cleat). Very similar in concept and pretty handy in a variety of circumstances. I am not sure I would rely on it solely for anchoring. That zig zag cleat pictured by @Lost But Happy would be more secure, IMO.

I had zigzag cleats on my last boat and really liked them. I ended up putting them on my current boat for anchoring. These would of been my next suggestion if the bow eye didn't work for them. I would of through bolted them on the inside top right under the gunwale, as close to the bow as possible.

FWIW my current tin has had a bow cleat on its 'cast bow piece' for 10-years now ... zero issues ... to the naysayers ...
