After I sold my big boat, I wanted to make sure I could still get out and chase the Albies and Bontio when them showd up, so I got the tinny... And today they did!
We were on them for 3 hrs straight, some of the most insane blitzes I have seein in a wile!! THese fish are a blast on lite tackle and can pull a 100yds of line in a instant..

They look like baby tuna, but are actually in the Mackeral family and get get up to 20+lbs. False Albacore are no good to eat, blood drentch meat. Bonito, (Not Bonita that are also no good to eat) Have nice white meat, and should show up again soon.

I ate a bonita once fresh off of the grill with an assortment of other fish. Other than looking like beef, I couldn't really tell a whole lot of difference in it.

Maybe it was just all of the beer and hard liquor that I had been marinating in masking the true flavor.

Nice catch.
