Another motor ?

Ok, since i have been having a hard time working my mercury. I have decided to try to fix my 70s 25 hp johnson. The motor has great compression, a new celenoid and I have all the controls for it and its electric start. The problem I have is It will not start. I am afraid it may be a power pack, I am not sure do you johnson experts have any ideas.

Compression,spark and fuel.You have those 3 things and there suppose to run.You say there's good compression...is there any spark,is it getting its gas?

I know it is getting gas and pretty sure its getting spark

Pull the plugs and ground the outer part of the plug to the motor and give it a crank. Dark garage or outside at night are best for watching.
