...to aluminum boats. I have been asking a guy about his boat in his mother's backyard for a long while now. He talked to his mother and she finally decided to sell it as her husband had passed away about 11 years ago and it's been sitting there neglected. The last sticker was 1992 and it was still in the envelope! They finally decided to let it go for $500. I jumped at the chance and towed it home after replacing the tires/wheels. It came with a 20hp and a 4hp Johnson! It has a side console steering setup (frozen of course) and a crank for the anchor. The hull needs a lot of work to get rid of oxidation but after a little grinding, it looks good in some spots. I opened up the axle bearings and cleaned out the Bearing Buddies. The spindle looks like it's in really nice shape.
This is my third boat (first two fiberglass) that are fixers so I guess I'm a sucker for hard work.
