hello, new to the forum but have gotten lots of useful information off of here. I bought a 1993 basstracker tx 17 and i am converting it to a tiller jet. Im trying to keep the weight down as much as possible with this build. I have a brand new mercury 60/40 jet outboard on it. Anyone who has any ideas for me let me know. Im not finished but hoping to be soon. Waiting for parts from amazon. I picked up the boat 2 weeks ago and been puttering on it here and there. Here are some pics of progress. thanks for checking it out.

Nice build. I really want to put my tracker on a diet. I just don't want to put in the time to do it.....yet

Those "V" stringers aft are crazy! I haven't seen that before.
