Would an 18 ft aluminum rivet boat like this be worth looking at or at 18 ft would a welded boat be a better choice? I have a 14 ft harbercraft but I am thinking of something for bigger lakes.
I went and looked at this boat. It is a Crestliner Wildwind 19. I found the specs for it on retrocrestliner. The boats lines are very cool but the past work and rework is sad. It would take a ton of money to make it right. I like the size and will keep looking. Thanks for the input Zum.
The guy is asking $1200 including the Chrysler 55hp. Not sure the engine runs. The spec says it Will take 105hp including twins. I like the boat but I would have to strip everything out to be sure things are right.
Cool boat. But-there is a possibility that it could take more $$$ to repair than it's worth. The other issue is time. Not everyone has the time to do projects like that. Tough decision.
I bought a welded boat-first one I've had. The difference is night and day and that is all I have to say about that.
