A couple years ago, I made a post about a kids' fishing tournament that I participated in and asked the members here if they might have any fishing related stuff they'd like to donate. Not suprisingly, the TinBoat family stepped up, and we were able to give ALL of the kids who fished that day something to take home in addition to the memories of doing so with family. The tournament, dubbed the "Mini-Me Classic", was created by a man named Clint Buice (aka "Cletus T")who I first met online on a local outdoor website here in GA, has been a yearly event since then, and grown with popularity. I fished the first one which I think had a total of 7 or 8 kids who participated, compared to last year which probably had over 50. I've also been to a fishing tournament he helped put together to raise money for a sick teenager, and I'm continuously inspired by his devotion to family, God, and making people smile. All of which I see through his online posts (specifically videos) and the brief in person encounters we've had. A couple years ago, Clint started working on a project to put his passions on film, and "Country Fried Cletus" was born. Although he hasn't been able to get his foot in the door with any media network, I would love to see him on TV one day. Here is a short promo for his show, and he has taped a few more shows that I will put up once available.
