Nice little crawdad . But I hope your not planing on running that 15HP on there that boat is only rated at 5 HP and you will rip the Transom off but thats up to you but I wouldnt do it . I would also just do 1/2 inch ply down the middle plenty with it laying on the supports

No not running the 15 on there .Runnin a 1964 merc 3.9 they prolly weigh the same that 15 only weighs 58 lbs.Thats for the next boat prolly a 12 foot john I just couldnt pass up the deal.

I think i am going to hang the ply over a little bit.I want to screw it into the pipes.I want to put 1/2 inch closed cell foam between the pipes also but leave ebnough room for water to run.

Yea the little merc should push it good I had a 5HP Suzuki on a crawdad and it would run 7MPH I also let the plywood hang over a little and used self tapping screws to ancor the ply to the tubes .

No I left it in the ends and just put the plywood down .I sit the battery under the rear seat .I had some big wakes come in and put about 4 inches of water in the boat in about 2 seconds I would not reccommend removing the foam with no bilge pump .I still have that boat havent used it in about 4 years though
