After 5 weeks of no fish, including 2 tournament zeros, I finally caught a freaking fish. Ain't big but it looked like a fish and smelled like a fish.

Actually, it was a JD baits Mudbug in smokey salt and pepper with blue flake. I went to that place with that bait knowing I would catch at least one. I missed 2 others on the trip, one on the Mudbug, had the drag set to light, and the other on a red eye shad. I could feel it was barely hooked and knew when I started reeling it would come off and it did.
