Followed the site for a long time and just came across my first project boat. I got this boat in trade a few weeks ago. It is a 14ft aluminum with cable steering, throttle controls and a 1960 18hp vein rude Fastwin. The motor fires right up and runs good. The boat appears to have been refinished many years ago, I hope to add some flooring and additional features like properly wired electrical. Check out the pictures and let me know what you think. Thanks, ChrisImageUploadedByTapatalk1377048266.871357.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1377048278.196117.jpg

Looking for ideas... I have not seen a restoration or mod project with this style of boat before. If you know of one or have some style or feature ideas, please send them my way. I am very open to suggestions.

Check the attached post, and do a search for runabout, or Arkansas Traveler. There are some cool old cruisers like that on here.

Thanks Lowe, that one link alone is an awesome motivation of what this thing could look like after a lot of time and effort. Keep sending ideas and example!
