Wanting to steel flex my 14' deep v, boat is roughly 175 lbs.

I know I can hook it to a tree and drag it off and retrailer it.

What's the easiest way to flip it without causing damage?

I'm assuming I can't apply steel flex with it on the trailer?

Is there something similar to steel flex that I can apply with it on the trailer?

Why coat it - is it leaking? Maybe you can just rebuck/replace rivets.

When I flipped my boat I had 2 pullers. One pulled the gunwale up, the other pulled the opposite gunwale sideways (to get CG over center).

At 175# you can probably just use ropes.

Good luck

Roman leverage, I do mine myself, & setup a 10’ beam to a saw horse so when it starts to come done I have a support rest it against. Another horse can be setup closer for a rest right over neutral or the balance point. Then I grab the outmost end of the long beam, for leverage, to lower it the rest of the way.

X2 on finding the few actual leaks and fixing them. Many can be stopped by rebucking rivets. I like to put a boat on horses and use the hose to put enough water in to find the leakers, mark them with a sharpie.
