I misplaced my Pentax Optio last fall and couldn't figure out where I put it. I found it this morning in a bag that I use occassionally for quick fishing....WOO HOO! I just gotta charge it up and make sure it works after sitting in the garage through the whole winter(sub zero).

It should be fine after the winter. I think it's mostly the condensation that hurts electronics after you bring them in from the cold to a warm house.
