I've looked at several fish finders and think I've narrowed it to these two. The Humminbird 688ci Hd or the Lowrance Elite 5 hdi. Does anybody have experience with either units? And if so would you share your thoughts good and bad. Thanks

If you are going the Lowrence way I would suggest upgrading to the Elite 7 and get the $100 rebate they have on the 7 series right now. Then you'll have the 7" screen at or near the same price as the 5" screen.

Either way you go I would contact Brian at BBG Marine. He'll beat anybodies prices.
