I'm in process of rebuilding my new (to me) 1970 Johnson 9.5horse. I got a carb kit, but I'm unsure that I know where every piece goes. My plan was to clean and soak, then take many detailed pictures to aid in reassembly, then just disassemble it, replacing parts when they have a match in the rebuild kit. Is this a legitimate method, or asking for trouble?
My questions would be:
1. besides the obvious float and gaskets, which parts should I assume will be included in the kit?
Also any specific instructions to my carb would be great, I know there is a manual floating around this site that I would love to have. I do promise to post my pictures and discoveries so that I'm the last to take on this carb blindly.
Here is the schematic:

and here is the kit I have:

Thanks A lot for any help at all! -Andrew
