Just a couple Olympic pics

Living 20 mins from Vancouver, I thought I'd share a couple pics from around town during the Olympics. Here's some politician guy carrying the torch through Abbotsford.

Takin the water taxi from Granville Island, check out the barricades to keep you out of False Creek near the Athletes Village.

And I had to show this beauty boat. Came all the way from Isle of Mann. It was so big it took 3 pics to get it all in. And then one pic of how big it is compared to all the rest.

Here's a pic of Canada Place where all the media people are staying and working.

And just next to that place is the Olympic cauldron.

Great shots! Doesn't look like that big boat has any fenders between itself and the pier :shock: . Thanks for posting the pics! 8)
