Looking for a 25hp short shaft tiller or controls...

I live in south Florida and am looking for a 25hp outboard short shaft. Tiller or controls, either is ok with me. Early 2000 model, but I would consider older if the motor is in good shape. I would also go newer, but I would like to keep the price in the $1,000- to $1,500- range. (that would be with shipping if the motor isn't in Florida) I am building out an old 14' Sea Nymph and plan on making it into a skiff for the flats here in S.W Florida. Thanks a lot for reading this, I really appreciate all the wisdom everyone offers here.
