Anyone have this problem and how did you fix it? I have a 1636. I am wanting to do a deck build with storage. I was thinking I will need to cut into the front seat which will be covered by deck anyway.

I wouldn't cut into my front bench that just being me and thinking the front will get the most abuse being waves/chop but you could lay the front deck over the two benches up front and floor in the open back section. I took a bench out of my boat albeit it's a 16 footer and the bench was in the middle but my 2 cents is leave the front bench.
