I have a transom trolling motor that I want to mount on the bow. I have reversed the head already, but I am looking for some input/ideas on how to mount it. I have a 12' Alumcraft semi-v, and I cant seem to make the angles work for a simple mounting spot. Thanks!

I was looking for the same thing and here is said product, I haven't purchased them but I'm thinking about it.

Clamp a board across like they use for a Canoe !

Cabela's lists a product called the ProControll EZ Mount Trolling Motor Mounting Plate that is made to do pretty much you want to do. Take a look as it might help or give you some other ideas.

I have not heard anything good about those. And they seem to have bad reviews. Thanks though!

I'm assuming you have the "rolled lip" gunnel?

Scroll down to Trolling Motor Mount.
I haven't used them and I wonder how strong they are... but certainly an option.
